Hancey adds to title list

Queensland's Klinton Hancey and current New South Wales State Champion has added the Queensland State Title to his growing list of achievements.

Klinton has made a big impact on the scene in only his second season in Modlites.

The QLD Title was held over 2 nights at Maryborough Speedway with Klinton leading the points into the final closely followed by William Butler from NSW and Danny Prade from SA and another new comer to the class Kyle Honour in fourth with Defending Qld title holder Terry Leerentveld starting from position 5.

The stage was set for an all out battle over 25 laps.

Klinton lead from start to finish in a very controlled drive.

Danny who for most of the race ran in second place had an unfortunate spin coming out of turn 2 and dropped back to position 7.

Kyle was able to squeeze past Will for 2nd.

Terry Leerentveld had steering problems before hitting the wall and being sent to the rear.
