Modlites flying high

At the recent Speedway Australia forum Modlites were announced the fastest growing division for the 2018/19 season. This may have been a surprise to some but not to all the Modlite Australia clubs, as we have had one of our most successful seasons on record culminating with the largest Australian Title to date, at Kingaroy Speedway Qld. Due to the cost effective nature of the division and full on flat out racing, Modlites have taken the speedway scene by storm in such a short period, with Modlites Australia being formed in 2014, recognized as a national class in 2017 and the fastest growing class in 2019.

With the interest in the forthcoming season and with cars in New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland and a push to have cars in Victoria ( with tracks already willing to host events) our numbers will only continue to grow well above the current numbers nationally.

Drivers from Juniors, Karts and other divisions can see that the low cost of competing in the Modlite division, only needing a small trailer to transport to meetings reducing the cost even more and the fast pace these little rockets show is the major reason to purchase a car.
