2017/18 Australian Title heads to Tamworth

2017/18 Modlite Australian Title will be held on the 26th & 27th January 2018 Oakburn Park Speedway, Tamworth, NSW.

Barry Hallett the president of Modlites NSW is pleased to be hosting the Australia Title and believes that it will help boost the popularity of Modlites in NSW . The title will be held at one of the busiest times for the town of Tamworth as it coincides with the Country Music Festival. Darren Gesell from Wide Open Promotions is expecting a large crowd to attend the two night event. With an estimated 40 plus cars to attend it will be an action packed two nights, the current A1 Aaron Prosser will be trying to make it back to back wins. 2-time Australian Champion and current Qld1, SA1 Terry Leerentveld and Current NSW1 Klinton Hancey will be hoping to add to their title tally's, throw in the likes of SA’s Graham Knuckey and Danny Prade, Qld’s current A2 Scott Lehfeldt & Sean Rose, NSW Wayne Donaldson & Will Butler, WA's BK Haliday and a list of 20 other drivers all capable of take the title home.
