Halliday WA Champion

Sept 8th & 9th saw an exciting battle during the Broome Speedway Club's Shinju Matsuri Stampede and Western Australia's first Modlites State Title. Michael Brown whom placed 3rd in the SA title and 6th in the Oz title was the only inter-state driver to make the trek to race in paradise, thank you Michael for making the effort to support our club. BK Halliday dominated the first night with three straight wins, followed closely by Harvey and Tom Oliver. BK lead the pack with a large gap to take out the feature which left father and son Harvey and Tom to battle it out for second and third position with Mick Morgan coming home in 4th.

The stars were aligned for BK as not only did he take out the state title but he also won first place for Modlites in the Shinju Stampede and winning the prestigious Overall Points award over all divisions & Highest Senior Points for the weekend.

Results: 1st BK Halliday, 2nd Harvey Oliver, 3rd Tom Oliver & 4th Mick Morgan.
