Hancey continues his dominance
The Western Australia Title was the only title standing in the way of complete dominance by Klinton Hancey after having won the Australian, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australian Titles.
Klinton and his team headed to WA to contest the title hoping to add to his impressive list.
Klinton top point scored over the two nights followed by Harvey Oliver, Glen Dearle and BK Halliday.
The defending title holder BK Halliday had a hectic night having to replace a blown engine, only just making it out in time for the feature.
Klinton was able to break away from the field in the final leaving BK Halliday and Harvey Oliver battle it out for 2nd place for most of the race. BK was able to edge away from Oliver to secure 2nd place with Oliver in 3rd and Glen Dearle rounding out the top 4
With Broome, having "one of the best tracks in Australia" as quoted by Klinton Hancey, hosting the Australian Title in 2020 it will be a big season for the Broome Speedway and Modlites WA
In the short existence of Modlites as a national division in Speedway Australia Hancey has set the bar high winning every major meeting that he has contested this season.
Will this type of dominance be seen again or is there someone else that can match Klinton?
With the likely hood of a Victorian Title and possible NT Title being added in the next few years can anybody break Hancey's record.
